A new version of our mobile application for Android devices will soon be deployed!
This Android 2.22 Update is about standardization of the field labels of the login page and the possibility to change password. We update regularly to provide you with a better experience with ProgressionLIVE dispatch software.
Android 2.22 Update
This update will be deployed starting May 30, 2019.
Standardization of the field labels of the login page
In order to facilitate the login process between our different platforms, we have standardized the field labels of the login page.
Thus, on the Android application, we changed the name of the field “Username” for “User,” just as on the web interface or the iOS application.
Then, the “Server,” “User” and “Password” labels are now inside their respective fields.
Possibility to change password
We’ve also added two new options to improve password management on mobiles.
First, we added an option, “Forgot your password?” on the login page (see image above), allowing you to reset your password without going through your administrator. You will then be prompted to enter your email and you will receive a link to reset it.
Secondly, we added an option in the action menu (3 dots) of the Android application, “Change password” (see image below). Thus, by clicking on this option, you will be prompted to enter your old password and choose a new one afterwards.
Note that your device must be connected to the internet to reset or change your password and that it must contain at least 6 characters, including a letter and a number.
